What the best way to learn film editing, so can get a job in the real world?

I know there are traditional film schools ( expensive), universities (take to long, and expensive) and 2-day, 2 week, etc film schools. I want to change careers and do it fast. I've made plenty of independent films, but I want professional training. advice from pros and students would be great.

traditional film schools teach what you want to learn, find one that is hip enough for you.
