What the best way to put bike grips on I have no compressor and I do not want to put any fluid on them?

Fill them full of water, cos water evaporates when you get them on or hairspray which makes them sticky.

Spray some hairspray in the grip, slide it on. If you need to move it more but it has already gone sticky, slip a screwdriver under there and spray a bit more hairspray, then move it up. Hope this has helped.

Water works fine. I've done it for many years. If you use a mallet to tap them on it's a piece of cake.
