I don't have any money to buy acetone or to go to the salon to remove them, nor do I know anyone where i live that has any type of nail polish remover (what a coincidence?)

I need to get them off by tomorrow, any help i would really appreciate

  1. Soak them in very warm (hot but not to where you can't set your hands comfortably in) soapy water. It should help to soften the glue. You might have to refresh the soapy water several times before you can even attempt to remove them. Just be very gentle!

  2. Soaking them in warm water will not work.  Acetone is really the only safe way to remove them.  I have filed nails off but I wouldn't recommend that for you because you could file past the acrylic and damage the natural nail.

  3. It's gross but you can chew them off.

  4. Acetone is simply a bottle of cheap nail polish remover---a dollar at best.  You need to soak and start peeling.   Just go to the store and look at the ingredients in nail polish remover.  The cheap ones are all acetone.
