haha, i started talking to this guy during the summer.. not that it matters to me, but i haev to tell you that i am white okay.. and he is black.. i dont care.. but i said something sooo stupid that made it sound like i do.

well, he said that he went to this one pool all of the time.. andi  was like oh, my brother works there. so he asked me to describe him.. and i did, and i was saying his hair was about ot his ears. and this guy cut me off.. syaing.. "what color?" hhahah.. i said."oh, hes white" and he was totally talking about my brothers hair. ahahah.. all my friends just stopped and laughed and made fun of me.. i felt bad.

First I get a feel for the person. When I say that I mean. I make eye contact. Then smile. I see their reaction and get a feel for their mood and try to get a sense of if they are talkative or even a friendly type of person. Then I just ask how are you? Or mention the weather or something about the surroundings or situation.

Well, walk up to them ask them their name. Tell them yours afterwards ask them their hobbies, if they play any sports
