  1. My guess is you want to know what a gallon of tap water or city water cost per gallon.

    Well...not sure about all the other places in US...but here in Fort Worth , Texas it's....... $ 0.0023    so it's a whole lot less than that bottle of water everyone drinks.

  3. Water in the UK through the mains is measured by the Cubic Metre. There are 1000 litres in a cubic metre and 4.546 litres in a gallon, so there are 220 gallons of water(rounded up) in a cubic metre.

    Our water supply is with Severn Trent and they charge £1.1507 per cubic metre of water.

    So £1.1507 divided by 220 gallons is £0.00523 per gallon. Half a pence per gallon! That's not bad really!
