What the difference between a cheap skim board or a good one like a zap or victoria?

im gust wondering what the difference between a cheap dollar store wood skim board and a good wood one by zap or Victoria because the good ones are so much more and i don't know if it will be much better

please help

a good one from victoria or zap will then to last longer and be of better quality because it is made of stronger wood and is laminated better than a dollar store skimboard that is made of a cheaper, weaker wood and is laminated in a weaker way. some of the better skimboards have epoxy resin for the laminating glue and that will last much longer and will warp less than a cheap skimboard. a cheap skimboard is like a skateboard from Walmart or a dollar store and a good skimboard is like a skateboard from a legit skateboard company
