  1. the only difference is a tornado is a vilont rotating colum of air.


  2. storms usually consist of thunder, lightening, rain or all.

    tornados are when warm and cold air collide just right to form a rotating funnel

  3. "Storm" is a generic term for an atmospheric disturbance that can mean anything from a rain shower to a hurricane, blizzard, etc.  A tornado is a violently rotating column of air which descends from a severe thunderstorm and is in contact with the ground.
