What the heck are Danes?

I'm supposed to do stuff about Vikings and Danes. I'm finding a ton of stuff about Vikings, but not about Danes. Can someone help me?

Seafarers from Denmark. Probably the information you are finding about vikings also encompasses the Danes who are sometimes referred to as danish vikings. they shared the same relgion and so forth as the Norse vikings.

Danes are people from Denmark.  They were accomplished sailors at one time.
