1. <EOM> does typically mean End Of Message but on the Yahoo Boards it is used to ridicule Dana. I know this is confusing but that is the way Al Gore wanted it when he invented <EOM>.

    <EOM>

  2. End Of Message, usually to indicate that what's in the message title is the entire message, there's nothing in the message body.

  3. End Of Message

  4. Every Other Month

  5. - end of month or

    - End of Message. This term is usually found written as <EOM> or (EOM).

    E-mail users who want to keep in the subject line the entire content of their email message use this acronym. This is a way to notify the reader that the subject is the actual message. The advantage is that the user does not need to open this type of email message to read it.

  6. EOM

    Related Terms acronym, chat room, ICQ, IRC, SMS

    Description Internet/SMS shorthand for the phrase End Of Message. Used when the subject line of an email constitutes the whole message (SO there is no need to open the email to read it)
