What the heck is FoxyProxy question?

I just downloaded foxyproxy. What the heck do I do now? It just sounded like something cool to have. What is it used for? In laymen terms please.

Unless you are in a situation where you use Firefox and are blocked from certain websites by an admin, this does nothing for you.  It's a way to get to sites without going thru the standard routing, which may be restricted (like in a school environment), using the Firefox browser.
