If you're going outside in your yard, or some other regular place, then you can use an outside fogger on the bushes. Works really well.

Never tried it, but Listerine topically is supposed to work best. Cheaper than bug spray. Good luck.

the active ingredient in mosquito repellent is deet- get a can that has the highest percentage of deet in it.

Some fishing bait/tackle shops sell 100% DEET.  It comes in a little orange squeeze bottle, and it is applied like baby oil.  It only takes a few drops, you just spread it around.  It is VERY effective, it does not stink like aerosol bug sprays, and it is much better for your skin.

if you dont like the smell of the repellent then buy a bath oil that people sell in avon products that its called skin so soft  thats really works and it smells good or f you dont want to try that well then buy off lotion repellent.

Dumdum is right, and samuri is full of horse pucky.  I use deet when I sleep under the stars.  If you are swimming or sweating, reapply every few hours (the bottle will tell you).
