  1. haha.... That is how I feel. I'm on leave now from Tech school. My brother told me it was normal because this really isn't my life anymore, and that I'm really not a civilian. Its a transition. I'm used to having something to do all day every day, and now I have a lot of time to sit and sleep. I didn't even realize how tired I was.

  2. Best vacation I ever had was when I was being transfered from Great Lakes to Texas.  I had ten days to get there so I just loaded up my car and drove.  Didn't take a map and never got on the interstate.  Just randomly turned south or west whenever I felt like.  Stopped when I felt like and kept driving when I felt like it.  Had some great times and met some great folks.

Chicago has some wonderful ways to pass the time.  If you haven't been to any of the museums since your 5th grade field trip, this would be a great time to do it.  A brief love affair is always a desirable option.  Read a few books.  Go up to that amusement park north of Waukegan.  I have always enjoyed just hanging out on college campuses and Chicago has many.  Take a tour of a brewery.  Visit Navy Pier for a festival of some sort.

  3. You live in one of the biggest cities in the world.  If you can't find something to do there, you're not industrious enough for the Marine Corps.

  4. Work out like your in BOOT

  5. s*x helps

  6. welcome to the real world, your not in High School anymore. life is not all fun in the sun when your a adult on your own.

  7. First of all ignore those answers b4 me because you don't wanna get in trouble fresh out of boot camp.I know what you mean straight out of boot camp you feel the need to stay busy all of the time but make sure you enjoy this time with your family you don't know the next time you will get to see them.
