What the heck is this Planet Nibiru?

I keep hearing about some 10th Planet coming into our solar system in the next few years and that this planet comes into our solar system every so many hundred or thousands of years (Sorry not sure if its hundreds or thousands) and that when the plant reaches our solar system it will destroy everything on Earth. Does anyone have any solid information as to what exactly will happen and if this does end up happening will it cause everything on earht to die?
