What the heck is this cacoon?

Question

We had a bud cage and everything in it died.We were abut to dump it when on of the bug's turds wiggled!!!!!!WIGGLED!!!!!It was CRAZY.We looked up onine what it was but nothing turned up.It looks like a big(For a bug)hunk of p**p but if you poke it it wiggles.We think it is a cacoon of what we thought was dead caterpiller.Please tell what this is.We do not know the kind of cateriller it was but we think it is a peird caterpiller.

If it wigglies then its kind of distubing,so let it break open on its own and see what you get or let it outside cause that seems really wierd)8
