I have a reallly messy room. a few months ago there was a mouse in my kitchen, then one in my living room. So two nights ago I was laying asleep in my bed and I heard a ruffling noise for a second, then it just randomly stopped. Then just now, I heard the same thing next to my computer table. If it is a mouse, what do I do spur the moment without mouse traps? I have four cats :]

  1. ::looks around:: my room is messy thanks for sharing now im gonna have to clean!

  2. put out some traps.  your cats are domesticated and hunt food in a bowl that comes from a can or bag.  seal all holes and cracks around your house.

  3. probly is n get those cats on them :)

  4. Smack it with a freakin chair! First make sure it's not your cat

  5. If you're feeling creative, go to the first link below and click "Next Step."

Not all cats are mousers.  Don't blame your cats--it's not in their job description!  :)

Over the next week, try to trap the mice.  Victor makes good snap traps.  If you don't want to kill them, the best live trap is the "Smart Mouse Trap" (second link).  Release the mice at least 50 miles from your house.

In the meantime, cover your cats's food bowl so the mice can't feed there.  Uncover it at regular times, for no longer than one hour at a time, to let your cats eat.  They will quickly adapt, and know when it's feeding time.

  6. Put the cats in the room with you.......they probably have known it and are working it a bit before capture.....get em...nite

  7. CATS ?(not all cats seem to like mice ~sorry!)

YOU can get neat plastic mouse traps for under $10 (I - guess?)

Then if you cut slices of cheese and fix then in the trap you will get good results.

More wooden traps could be got from your ;local $2 0r $5 dollars shop.

Repeat-with cheese or fried bacon slices.

    cheers..

  8. sure sounds like a mouse?!?!!. Cats only chase mice if they are hungry, and your cats probably don't work for food. You will need mouse traps to get rid of them because they usually do not move out on their own. they usually run around the perimeter of the rooms, so set the traps in the closet and around the outside walls. Mice love messy rooms, clothes to hid in, or foam, or papers, and will find any tiny morsel of crumbs. Clean your room and vacuum and wash everything that they might have touched. With a clean room, you are less likely to get a family of mice moving in with you.
