Gatorade Fierce was 77 cents for a long time at Target. I saw it for 99 cents today. Sure it's only a dollar, but it used to be less than a dollar.

Why did the price jump?

  1. You think that is bad? At the supermarket, the price of a 6 ounce can of tomato paste has gone from 33¢ to 67¢ since a year ago. I know, 33¢ was dirt cheap, so the era of practically free food is definitely over.

  2. because minimum wage just went up and they raise the prices up..

  3. i don't like the high price either its prob because of the economy i meen gas use to be 2.76 now for me 3.99 all economy and those advertisements joking

  4. Have you been living under a rock for the last 6 months?

Gas prices have sky rocketed... so companies charge more for their products to compensate for the extra money they spend on gas for their trucks/ships etc.

  5. I'm not answering because I know for sure but I would say because the price of fuel is skyrocketing, the trucking companies have raised their rates to compensate for that, so if you notice a lot of things are going up in price.

  6. Because everything is going up.

mainly due to shipping costs( fuel related).

With other products it's due to increases in dairy, corn and wheat( and shipping).

A vicious cycle when fuel goes through the roof.

  7. Most every consumable is going up in price as a direct effect from rising fuel prices. Every item you see when you go to any store to buy something was trucked there and as fuel prices rise so does the cost for transporting goods. Also stop and think of all the packaging and containers that are plastic which is a petroleum based product so oil prices affect all that stuff too. It would be great if we could just blink our eyes and everything just magically appeared on the shelves at the store but that's not reality.

  8. I believe they call it a 'recession"=]

  9. They heard you were back so they raised the prices on the drinks knowing you would succumb to the temptation of purple drink and buy them anyway.

  10. you jerk'd off that's what you did wrong!

  11. lol They have to pay for all the advertising they're doing.  Just joking.  Not sure why it would be up so much.

  12. It's all about the cost of oil..

Do you know how much oil is in those plastic bottles?

  13. THEY SEE THE PURPLE PEOPLE COMING........I LIKE PURPLE TOO..NO PRICES ARE GOING UP MAYBE NEXT WEEK THEY WILL BE 1.99........SO IM GETING 2 OR 3...........

  14. If Obama wins it will be 1.99

  15. I'm sorry I dont have an answer for you, but I think this is really funny: Many people get this way over gasoline. You get it over Gatorade.

Maybe it is the price of gas that bringing it up though.

  16. it's like $2 where i shop for a 32oz and thats a lot of $
