Do we need to remind him of his unilateral and world defying decision to invade Iraq?

Besides, I think he's getting his news regarding the Russia-Georgia conflict from the always biased American media. Because Georgia was the aggressor, Russia is just defending its citizens.

Actually

South Ossetia IS a part of the Republic of Georgia, and the folks who declared themselves independent, have not been diplomatically recognized by any UN member nation.  Therefore, under modern international law, they don't exist.

I can declare my house an independent nation, refuse to pay taxes, and try to force "invaders" out.......but with no recognition, good luck......

More than that his simple threats vs Russia rather than getting the conflict settled peacefully reminded me of the way it would be so easy to get these country at war over a matter which could escalate into a WWIII considering how F****n stupid both Bush n Putin are.

It is unbelievable how the US is presenting the news. Bush makes it seem like Russia attacked poor little Georgia, and that they are killing innocent people. What the news is not telling us is that Georgians attacked South Ossetia first, trying to get their land back, which once belonged to them. But now South Ossetia is absolutely independent. Did you know that Georgians invaded South Ossetia by burning villages, raping women that were trying to run away, cutting children's' heads of in front of their parents? There were buses full of kids that were trying to run away to Russia, and Georgians burned those buses with the kids. They burned a bunch of old people inside a church. Russia had to step in and stop this! And tell me, how can Bush be saying that Russia is doing a terrible thing, while he has thousands of his own people in Iraq!

Bush, McCain and Obama when talkin about Georgia, all were defending Democracy in this country. Unlike Afganistan and Iraq, ruled by criminal gangs and Dictators, Georgia has Legitime gvrmnt. Russia needed reason to invade Georgia because of it's ambitions to become NATO and EU member. Russia is afraid that in this case NATO will border it from the south also. S. Ossetia and Abkhazia are only reasons. on 1993 Russians made hundred of thousands of Georgians to leave their homes in this regions and become refugees in their own country. Many Georgians still live in S. Ossetia and abkhazia and Russians by shooting this Civilian Georgians provocated Georgian government which was trying to defend it's people and territory. Russia has a dream to become New world Leader and rebuild New Soviet Union!
