John McCarthy is retired. His last match was Roger Huerta vs. Clay Guida last December. Now he is a fight analyst for the The Fight Network.

Big John has gone on to work for a rival company called Affliction. And of course, Dana "The God of MMA" White, is taking it as a personal attack. Partially because he went to a new promotion, and partially because McCarthy is in favor of the new rules and weight classes being introduced to the sport.
