    (sorry never heard of it)

A Czech 'Dumpling' well that can also be what the teeny boppers types I guess would call they're fave Czech player.

  8. it is a side-dish to many sauces of the Czech cuisine. it is similar to German Knoedeln. it is basiccally yeast white flour batter cooked in the hot water. the object is then cut into loaves and served.

there are variations to it, using mashed potatoes and even the sweet -fruit- or maremalde filling version of it.

for a foreigner the result might resemble the soft semmel or bagel cut into loaves, but without the crust at the edge.
