What do the parents do ?

Don't they have any parental control upon their kids?

What is the government planning to do now?

Is London turning to Bronx; Harlem or what?

  1. I think you probably answered the question when you highlighted what parents do and the simple but awful truth is that too many parents just do not bring up their children properly

The government can only do so much , but a childs attitude to life and those around start in the home .

All this talk of rights really annoys me because with rights , and children come responsibility and far to many duck responsibility

  2. The establishment is too soft on young offenders, if they get caught they get very soft small sentences.  I think you will find that the crime rate in London is lower than some US cities even so.

  3. It's media hysteria.

The other night there was 4 hours of programmes on so-called street violence.

In London there's been about 14 murders of teenagers in a population of 8 million, and that's lumping in a girl killed by a stalker, someone killed because of mistaken identity, drunken fights - whatever happened the press launch into their "knife gangs on the streets" shtick regardless of how relevant it is or isn't to what actually happened.

How many people died in traffic accidents in the same time period and location?

No, I don't know either, it's not what's in the news at the moment, but I'd bet my bottom dollar it's a lot more than have been killed by "youth violence"

  4. When you take away peoples firearms, you take away their means of self-protection.  Looks like the draconian UK gun ban has finally caught up with you.

  5. too many kids think it's cool to carry knives (or guns), threaten people, and just generally be nasty (chavs) when a group of them meet they someone gets seriously hurt, or dead.

Chavs have been around as long as I can remember - my uncle was killed by a group of them in '93, they strive to be 'well hard' - where stupidity and violence makes them more popular around their peers - they are like pack wolves, and they scare me more than anything in this world, because they are everywhere, not just london

  6. it is not just london and the uk .there is violence and murders everywhere!

  7. voilence is every where but more at places where police and govornment have less control

people from so many contries are going to london.

thats why police is losing control

  8. is everywhere not only uk

  9. >>>When you take away peoples firearms, you take away their means of self-protection. Looks like the draconian UK gun ban has finally caught up with you.<<<

London turning into Bronx or Harlem? Violence is universal, friend.

Here is a reason there might be so many murders: it is a city with a lot of people in it.
