What the h**l is net ball? is it another name for basket ball? just gotta ask confused..visited the Caribbean

And they were playing what I thought was girls basket ball but they called it net ball? What is that? what's the difference between what we play which is basket ball and net ball which is what they play..

Its not the same. Its a girls sport in which u have 7 players per team. each one with a different position and boundaries to the who can go where on the court. also only two persons are allowed to shoot the goal shooter(GS) and goal attack (GA) the hoop is much smaller than the one used in basketball and it also smaller. Also in netbal u are not allowed to move with the ball once u have caught it and u have 3 seconds to pass it. U are also not allowed to bounce or push another person as this is an infringement

Netball is a totally different sport to basketball. Generally it is known as a "female" game so men don't really play much. You are not allowed to "dribble" the ball, you cannot run with the ball you must pass or pivot. Depending on your position you must stay in certain areas of the court and have certain "jobs" to do, eg. block certain players.
