100% natural ingredients? Does high-fructose corn syrup ring a bell? I think everyone should refuse to buy 7Up until they remove the "100% Natural Ingredients" banner from their cans and bottles. Any thoughts?

  1. Corn syrup is a natural product.  It may be refined using modern technology but that doesn't make it non-natural.

  2. natural or not they messed that recipe up!.....the whole point of drinking 7up was to feel that burn when you drank it and now it goes flat before the 2nd drink....i only had 1 "natural" and that was the end

  3. High fructose corn syrup is an engineered product made from natural ingredients. I am not sure if that still qualifies as 200% natural, but perhaps they were refering to other products in most sodas.

  4. I don't know where you're from, but in the US, the labels say "100% natural FLAVORS". This is obviously to avoid the HFCS arguement all together. They aren't claiming that all the ingredients are natural, just the flavoring they use.

  5. they should remove the 100% natural ingradients. The banner ftom their cans and bottles to be altered. All should be refused.

  6. corn syrup is not synthetic, and fructose is sugar from fruit.

  7. if u break down all the ingredients in high fruitose corn syrup u will find that it is natural because all the ingredients to make it are natural.

  8. LOL!! Good question!

I recently bought a Canada Dry and it tasted just like 7-up.  I think the pop/soda (depending on where you're from in the country) makers are s******g up their recipes!!!

And I guess the only justification I could give for that is that it's pure sugar, and that's a natural plant....?

Okay... I suck :)  That's a bad excuse for the makers.

  9. CORN syrup, it is processed yes, but is it a chemical? no, plus i think they mean with flavor.

  10. corn syrup comes from corn 100% naturally

  11. corn and syrup are natural

  12. Well soda is carbonated and most of the time contains caffeine so its not gonna be 100% natural ingredients. IT'S SODA REMEMBER.

If you want 100% natural ingredients drink juice, or water..

And who said corn syrup isnt a natural ingredient, it's syrup from corn (a crop grown in farms). Fructose means sugar. So highfructose means alot of sugar. Sugar is natural its not a chemical.
