What the h**l kind of bee is this

i live in pennsylvania, this thing is seriously the size of my thumb

thats a picture of it... i have no clue where they are coming from or what they are but they scare the c**p outta me lol

  1. The picture is pretty fuzzy, which makes it too hard to give be absolutely certain - but it doesn't look like a bee.  It looks more like a cicada killer wasp.  They are considered harmless - they rarely sting (you'd have to really be messing around with it to get stung), so there is no reason to be afraid of them.  Males are more aggressive, but they cannot sting.  It is now cicada season, so the cicada killers are also coming out in force.

  2. MY GOD!!  I have no idea but I don't think it is a bee.  It looks more like a wasp or hornet.  stay away..if there are a lot, I would call a exterminator...fast
