  1. psh!

if i was in this situation i would find out who was claiming it,

and i would beat their car with a baseball bat.

if i was being blamed for something like that it couldn't get anyworse.

    haha...

    but yeah...

    just wait it out.

  2. just take it easy, just let your insurance company know that you refuse to pay any excess.  let the police come have a look at your vehicle and see for themselves.  i know its a pain in the ****, but rather let it go that way than you start with stories and excuses.

let the police have a look and if they still dont believe you ask them to introduce you to whoever is putting in the claim.  but for now, crack open a beer and relax.  what will be will be...

  3. maybe its someone you know who is trying to "frame you"

  4. If there is no damage on your vehicle and you didn't do it, then there should be no problem.

Unless your trying to hide something let the police look at the car.

  5. Your doing it. Go with the flow once the police see your car wasn't in it this will be all over. They will say that this was a case of mistaken identity no big deal. Hope this ends soon.

  6. the police have to do a follow-up when they receive a report like this.

I wouldn't worry though, once they realize there is no damage to your car, they can verify that you in fact didn't pull a hit and run.

You shouldn't be bothered after the police come, but you should let them so no one gets suspicious.

  7. yea sounds like someone is trying to pull a fast one.

insurance and police are doing their procedure, just gotta wait it out.

but seems like your not at fault so you'll be ok.
