What the %^#$ is wrong with my printer?

i have a Lexmark E232 laser printer.

it used to work fine, but now when i turn it on, all the lights come on and don't move and when i try to print something , it says error. and i can't figure out what the error is. there's enough ink and paper. i need to print some papers for school and right now i just feel like kicking this printer out my window. suggestions?

  1. First off check for a paper jam and make sure the cartirdge is installed correctly.  Your lexmark status monitor will tell you this.   If it reads a cartidge, it is installed.   If it doesn't say paper jam, there isn't one.

    If that all checks out.

    Unplug the printer.

    Restart the computer

    Plug the printer back in and try to print.


  2. Go to the Lexmark live chat support. I think that are the best qualified to answer Lexmark questions

    Now click on live chat    or the  email option
