  2. Temperature glide is related to refrigerant blends, particularly the 400 series. Since the 'blend' is not a single component, or act like one, the different components in thee refrigerant boil at similar, but slightly different temperatures.

    example, refrigerant blend ABC, A may boil first lowering the evaporator to 50 degrees, then B may boil next at 47 degrees, then C boils at 43 degrees, so the inlet evaporator temperature is 50 and the exit is 43, the 'glide' is 7 degrees
