What the minimum percentage at B.E, to get pursue higher studies in the US?

hi, i am going my B.E(CSE) at anna university(affiliated), tamil nadu.

i was under impression that the first year marks are not counted in the final scores.......so i managed to clear the first year (sadly with one arrear, which i didnt clear the second time too), and the third sem results which came yesterday, i failed in one subject - Now i am really scared as these sem results(3 to 8) would be counted in the final tally ( you might be thinking , what a big *** duffus i am ??, but i am not, i have a above average intelligence its just that i dont follow "TEXT BOOK - MUGGED ANSWER", i give my own answers)

I biggest concern is that i want to pursue my higher education in US , so whts the minimum percentage required(accepted by US)???

u can do well in ur remaining semester exams,try 2 get distinction so tat ur arrears wil nt  b counted,it is the intelligent matters nt the muuged answers,try ur best n wait 4 the result

I think it depends on each university along with TOEFL/GRE/GMAT scores.
