Destro to Roma; deal finalised between the two parties
After one of the longest transfer sagas in recent Serie A history, the Azzurrini has finally opted to choose the Giallorossi as his next destination. Enrico Preziosi went on record to state that the transfer of Mattia Destro was the silliest transfer he
had ever seen.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports on Destro’s happiness at making it to the capital outfit; where the striker would be donning the “22” number jersey. The number had previously been worn by Borriello, who seems to be on his way out of the Stadio Olimpico outfit,
with Tottenham reportedly interested in his services.
