You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Filipino actors do not even compare in pay to the actors over here in the U.S. . Another thing also is that a high school theatre club in the U.S. are better actors than professional actors in the Philippines. Filipino actors are so pathetic.

Pay is comensurate w/the Talent.  I think it should go w/o saying that the caliber of American Actors are waaaaay better than Phil Actors.  Most Phil actors are hired not because of talent but more for their looks.

hollywood films cater to international audience, Philippine films can only cater to local audiences, just consider the return of investment.
