What the point of a senior memory book?

Seriously. My school makes us seniors make this book thats 15 chapters and a minimum of 2 pages each, and want us to tell our personal information like "My first crush" and a bunch of other stuff I don't want to share and I wish I could just forget, and they made this thing worth 35% of our grade so we pretty much have to do it or fail English.

so you can remember your senior year. if you don't want to remember it, just make up a bunch of stuff.

You can only understand when you are older. I graduated 4 years ago, and I now I can only wish I participated in things like that. Believe me, just do it. Who cares if it sounds stupid now, you will thank me later.

You could do it tongue-in-cheek, if you don't want to share personal information. Like your first crush can be Obama, or Batman, or the Jonas brothers.

Right now it may suck big time, but believe me when you hit 30 like me it will be all precious memories! I have a graduation book from the 8th grade that I still have. I'll take it out maybe once a year just to go through it and reminisce...along with my year book!

I speak as a senior of 10yrs ago.. we had to do this to & it's a good question to ask. Everyone has things they'd much rather not share with others.

If you truly do have to do this for a grade don't use names use initials but if there are serious issues with this assignment speak to your teacher about doing an assignment in place of the senior memory book.

The point something to laugh at years later but honestly it is the combining of students memories & experiences with the last year(s) of your experience, a bit of that goes towards your younger classmates as silly as that sounds.

I think i've given you a way to do it rather then the point but the point is something you want to share something of yourself with your fellow classmen about the year(s) you've been at your high school.
