What the problem?

I have a small white flat spotty sore on my gum right next

to a tooth. It is very sore and been almost a week. Is the

pain from the sore or is there a tooth problem?

It looks as though you're starting to develop an infection. Before it get really big and painful,get yourself to the dentist's. He might be able to deal with it locally and you won't need to take antibiotics.
