  1. Wind blowing into or past a room can change the pressure on one side of the door relative to the other, which makes it move.


  2. Not just because a window is open, there has to be a draft. That draft goes through the opening of the door. Taking in account the fact that moving air has a lower air-pressure, a difference in air-pressure is created. The still air on the other side of the door (the object) pushes harder compared to the moving air on the other side. That difference pushes the door towards the draft (and the hole), closing the door.

  3. Wind blowing in the window and out the doorway catches the door and causes it to move. As the door rotates, it presents a greater surface area to the draft, accelerating its motion and leading to a SLAM!
