  1. The Acer is generally better and acer laptops are easier to hardware upgrade than toshiba.

    But ...

I think you should get a Mac.

  2. the acer is better i have 1 im typeing to you on it now

only thing i hate bout it everytime i get off of it ppl here r standing in line so i make them pay and the line like breaks up

  3. The Core 2 Duo is slightly better, but not much. She would probably prefer the Acer.

Edit: If you look at the stats, the biggest difference is the L2 cache size on the Core 2 Duo. The main thing that will help with is using programs that use a lot of resources, like for video editing. For normal use it won't make a huge difference. The Core 2 Duo is a little bit faster, but she might not even notice if she tried them both.

  4. there is A LOT more different than what you think.

    screen size.

    memory space.

    video memory.

    weight

    usb ports

    wi-fi ready

    ethernet port

    webcam

    graphics

    cpu

    battery length

    resolution

    lan speed

    ...

it's all on the websites you provided.

    I honestly would go with

    the toshiba.

simply because it's wi-fi ready.. it weighs less.. and it has more memory capabilities.

    it's also smaller in size.
