What theories appear in Jurassic Park?

in the book Dr. Malcom uses a couple of theories. what were they? I remember the chaos theory but there were others that I can't remember.

It's mostly chaos theory, which is crazy complicated and involves more math than I even want to think about (and it's not that I'm not a mathy person, cause I am, I'm just not a math major. I've linked to a site that's got loads of high-level math and science stuff on it, so if you find out the theories, you can look them up and find out more about them than you'd probably ever want to know.
