What they do to people who have Health Insurance debt and can't pay?

Seriously give a professional answer.. let's say you have health insurance and have a cirgury but during that recovery your lost your job and are not able to pay the insurance fee every month what would happened to the debt and to the person with this huge bebt?

  2. It gets sent out to collections, just like any other debt.  Eventually, they'll go to court, and attach your assets and future wages.

    Uninsured medical costs are the #1 reason for bankruptcy filings, here in the USA.

  3. The debt is charged off and sold to a collection agency.

  4. If you are unable to pay the premium the insurance stops; you won't have a debt to the insurance company. They quit paying claims so you'd have to pay the doctors and hospitals yourself and the doctors and hospitals are the ones that will send the debt to collections. However, if you contact the providers they will usually work out a payment plan.
