If we - members of the human race - do not listen to the warnings of the Global Warming and usher in and effect suitable changes in our economic, trade and commerce and industrial policies on the basis of scientific plans and schemes , perhaps we may be compelled to say:There was the Big Bang

and the Earth cooled into a living planet - the only living planet - and much later Man evolved to advance to such an extent that by his sheer greed and aggressiveness in exploitation of natural resources brought the END

to Earth !

There are no real beginnings and endings.  A sunrise begins a day and a sunset ends it, true.  But that sunset also begins the night whereas the sunrise ends it.

Birth is the beginning of life, but the end of a pregnancy.  Death is the end of life, but the beginning of .... something else.  If you're religious, immortal life.  If you're not religious, decomposition.  Either way it still begins something else.

The end of Spring is the beginning of Summer.

Use any example and you can find what it begins as well as what it ends.  That's why it's called "the life cycle".
