  1. if you have 10 big panel eg: say of 200watts and have 6 hours of proper sunlight..

so u will have 12000watts of energy 2Kw of energy per day..

it depends what is ur household usage..

    a 100W bulb for 6hrs= 600W

    a TV may be 400W for 8 hrs =3200watts..

calculate like this for each equipment u have..

or ucan calculate ur daily use from ur meter...

also u need enough batteries for storage and an inverter to covert the DC energy to AC energy..

solar can power anything if it is efficiently stored and generated...

depends on the no of panels u have ..area you have for installation......... the cost u can afford..

    a 200W solar panel may cost 35000 - 40000 in india..

  2. What things can moving water power?

It just depends on the size and number of panels.

  3. With the right equipment anything that requires electricity. I have been living on solar power for 6 years now.

  4. Add up the Watts, listed on the nameplate of each item, and compare that to the wattage of the solar panels, watts/square foot times number of square feet of panels.

That will give you the most your panels can power if everything is on at the same time, the sun is at its brightest, and there are no losses in the system. Then you've got your storage capacity and inverter capacity to consider. If you've only got 8 hours a day of sunlight, then you need 3 times the area to cover the other 16 hours in the day. Although you are unlikely to run everything full bore all the time, neither is the sun a constant.

For most people the best actual return on investment can be had by using the panels to store energy in a preheater for the hotwater tank fill line. This avoids the cost of batteries, an inverter, and an automatic throwover switch, as well as the time, trouble and expense of dealing with the power company. If you actually have energy left over, the best way to use it is to charge a battery bank connected to an uninterruptible power supply on your most used and non essential equipment, ie TV and Computers. When you  are there, unplug the UPS and run your stuff on the batteries in that. I'm sure a electronic type could build dropout relay that would automatically switch the ups back to line power when the batteries start to run out. You would want to disable the inverter's charge circuit also or it would use line power to charge the batteries.

  5. they can run almost anything electric once they have charged their batteries. Solar energy and wind power are the new renewable energy sources of the future. They are clean, cost effective, and beneficial to sustaining life on earth.

  6. You can read about solar power and what it can be used for here:

  7. Depends on the size of the panels.

If they are big enough and many, they could power a plane.

  9. almost every thing in your home

  10. with a inverter (12 volts DC  to 120 AC ) You could run fans lights frig.. PC. That is if the panels are large 100 watts each

And with batteries you could run them 24/7

  11. Storage batteries and light emitting diodes.
