  1. Visit this site. I have installed many of these and your car wont get stolen but as for the rest of the stuff, just keep it out of sight.

  2. Quit using your car as a rolling warehouse.   The more c**p you carry in the car,  the more there is to tempt the low-lifes.

Do not leave gadgets (such as GPS or computers)  in sight of someone walking past.

Do not leave windows partially down and always lock the car

Never leave the keys in the car,  even just for a moment to get a soda pop

You will never make you car  (or house) completely secure from thieves.  Only a gun competently used  gun does that,  and you have to be there to use that.   The goal is to make it too time consuming,  too noisy,  too attention getting,   TOO HIGH RISK   for the thief.     Car alarms are useless,  most view them as an annoyance now due to the many that went off without cause.

  3. A hungry doberman pincher.

    Good luck.

  4. Keep a large German Shepard tied to the bumper.

Seriously, you can keep stuff out of sight, park in lighted areas, and install a system that alerts you by cell phone.
