What things do I have to take with me for my trip to usa for exchange student?

I am going to usa for an exchange student and I don't know what things I have to take with me, I just have my clothes and the present for my family of usa but I don't know what else I have to take with me. please help me....

well I think you'll get most of your stuff here because u.s. and other countries have different styles, etc but you should bring your style over here (BTW where are you from?) if you have money you should exchange it, and things that you use very often perhaps make up you like to use  because you might not find those products here or other products and it might cheaper if it’s a brand from your country. or if you like video games bring it...and also something you just cant live without e.g. I cant sleep w/out my stuffed animal lol make a list just in case if your not sure and think about it. but don't to hard just relax, it will come to and you'll notice things by time...

Focus mostly on the personal things you will want to have with you.  You will be able to buy most things you'll need in the US when you get there.  Consider bringing special items from your country that you may want to give as small gifts to other people you might meet in addition to the gift for your host family.  Arrange for access to money while you are in the US - possibly you will be able to access a home bank account while you are in the US - check about that at your bank.  Most important, have fun and enjoy the experience.
