What things do you absolutly detest about your Country and what things do you Love about same..?

Sorrry, tried to answer this but lost the answer due to cat jumping on lap top. Living in Scotland I detest the grey skies the rain and the cold winds.

I love the people, especially Glaswegians and I love living on the west coast and enjoying magnificant sunsets.

I DETEST WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN THE NAME OF GOD AND COUNTRY TO OUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS AND TO THIS EARTH WHICH SUSTAINS US.  WE HAVE RAPED, PILLAGED, AND PLUNDERED OTHER PEOPLE, OTHER SPECIES, AND THE LAND ITSELF.  NATURE WILL EVENTUALLY REGURGITATE US AND CONTINUE ON.  I LOVE THE CONCEPT THAT WE ARE ALWAYS OPTIMISTIC, HOPEFUL THAT WHAT WE DO DOESN'T COME BACK TO BITE US.  I LOVE THAT PEOPLE SEEM TO IGNORE ALL THE INSANITY THAT IS OCCURRING AROUND US.  I LOVE THE WAY WE GREEDILY HOLD ON TO THE PAST AND PROGRESS IN MANY AREAS AT A SNAIL'S PACE.

All right, this may sound weird, but I am proud that in my country one of the biggest problems with poor people is obesity. We have so much that even the poor have too much. I am not proud of the way we seem to shoot first and ask questions later. I also hate the divisive politics that both parties play to keep people divided.
