What things do you know about fungi??

Hey all.

I have to do an assignment on Fungi and I got one of the two hardest groups everyone else got stuff like flowers and spiders. Anyways I need some interesting facts on fungi to complete one half of the assignment and I can't find much.

It can be found in the bubbles in bread...have you tried typing "fungi" into google?

It is the only kingdom that includes both unicellular and multicellular organisms.

It consists of molds, yeasts, and mushrooms.

Dimorphic Fungi behave like mold at room temperature, but at body temperature, become like yeast, and cause nasty illnesses.

Yeast can be beneficial in foods like yogurt, bread, beer, wine, etc.

Yeast is in our bodies all the time, and if we're healthy, helps balance off the bacteria that is always there.

Fungi are responsible for the decay of of leaves, trees, etc.  Without them, it would all pile up, and there would be no natural fertilization of the planet.
