  1. a heater that is personally for driveways-to melt the snow so people dont have to shovel.

    personal flying device

    a building on the moon

    never be invented-teleported

  2. Actual virtual reality computer games, not flat screen, I mean LIVING inside the game, with a headset

  3. Cars that do not need petrol, but maybe will run on water

Washing machines that never break down

Nano cures for all disease and brain injury

Genetic engineering to stop the ageing process

Gro-bags for embryos to replace the female womb

Not possible sadly to grow a money tree

  4. Washing machines and dishwashers that use no water.  Soil will be loosened sonically and removed with magnetism.

    Brainwave interfaces for video games.

Nano technology that could enter the human body and kill off disease, repair damaged tissues, diagnose medical conditions, and administer the necessary medications only to the affected areas and only in the required doses.

Specially bred and trained dogs that can sense the human bodies subtle physiological changes when people lie.  This would eliminate the need for lawyers.

I don't think anyone will ever invent time travel, or eliminate death.

  5. Things that will be invented in the future:

    1) Flying cars

    2) Cleaner Robots

    3) Life for humans on Planets as it is on Earth

    Never be possible to invent:

It could be life on planets that could take thousands or hundreds of years but aparently plans are undergoing as we speak but they still believe it could take a lot of time. I also think that life under water would be impossible! but after all this world full of technology continues to prove that nothing is impossible.

I bet in around the 17th/18th century people never imagined that computers, mopbile telephones, televisions could even exist, or even questioned it...

  6. d**n good question. I recently read a serious article on that somewhere, and you've got me wanting to read it again - I was just looking through the bin and everything. Stupid journal.

I can't remember the conclusions to it exactly, but time travel was written off as impossible, whereas teleportation's probably the next realistic development (it's actually already been done... sort of... with individual particles).

Edit: Not exactly what I was looking for, but worth a read if you're genuinely interested in this sort of thing. It addresses the teleportation thing that I brought up at least: http://technology.newscientist.com/chann...

Edit 2: According to Lisa (above), life underwater is impossible. I guess my Marine Biology studies were a waste of time eh?

  7. Inventing is easy, all you have to do is think of things that nobody else has. (From today's Simpsons) :-)

My favorite future tech is LED/panel lighting. Imagine the whole of your rooms roof glowing white instead of one bulb and using energy generated by solar storage during the day.

I'm trying to think of three more, but off the top of my head I can't!

  8. ermmm not sure yet, its hard to think up something which hasnt been invented yet...
