What things is Galvanized steel used for?

i have a project and i was just wondering what things are made from galvanized steel??

Things exposed to the weather that you don't want to rust for a bit.

Shed roofs, fencing, piping, etc.

Galvanized means there is a zinc coating to resist rust. Sometimes on roofing there is a rubber washer placed between the metal nail and metal roof to resist galvanic action causing the nail to pop up over time.
