  1. is it too cold to do a lap of the pub naked if i loose?

  2. AIMPOINT -Everything else is before the stroke if your going to re-think get up off the shot and set up for it again

  3. to keep calm, think of what balls you are going to pot next and to try and get a good position for the next 2 shots.

  4. They have to think not just about potting the ball but also where abouts the cue ball is going to finish for the next shot.

  5. The only thing you should have on your mind while down on your shot is complete focus on your contact point.  All the other factors like ball control, english  and thinking about following threw with a good stroke should be thought of preshot.  You definitely don't want to be thinking about the outcome of the shot or talking to yourself while you are about to make your contact stroke.  That is when mistakes are made.  Of course its very simple to say, but not always the easiest thing to do.

  6. u must know ur path to the black ball if not a run out play it like a chess game and leave ur opponent a shot leaning towards his weakness pure and simple if ur a beginner always hit centre of the white ball and ur stance is correct and a fluent stroke to hit the ball true chalk ur tip

  7. do not move your arm from the elbow up, never move your head...only your eyes.

    Visualize from above.

  8. Johnny is right , all the thinking is done before you get down to shoot. That's what you should be doing when your surveying  the table and chalking up your stick. Once you put that chalk down and get down to shoot all that matters is the contact point. If your thinking about your shape or english or that good lookin' babe over by the jukebox then you're not ready to shoot yet.

  9. always keep your stick level whenever possible, a lot of amateur players tend to elevate the back of there stick when it's not necessary

  10. Just think about your shot and block out everything else and always keep your eye on the object ball.

  11. First and foremost, as B.C. says, is concentration on the point of contact. Second is to remember to stroke through the cue ball... don't just hit the cue ball and stop your stroke. A good smooth stroke through the cue ball will guarantee better cue ball control than a herky-jerky stroke.
