What things would I need to consider if I want to sell everything, buy a camper and travel the country?

I'm entertaining the thought of selling everything, buying a truck camper hitting the road, spending 6 months or so in every state waiting tables or some other job.

This wouldn't be a vacation, it would be a lifestyle.

Actually I think it sounds great.  You do need a nest egg...be able to pay car insurance, any bills you have, have an emergency fund, and money to live on for a couple of months. Then, hopefully, you could support yourself as you go.  Keep a journal, take lots of pictures..see as much of the U.S. as you can.If you can swing it financially and are free to go...GO.
