Hi Giorgio,

I am a Filipina and I am happy to give you an answer.  I went to Italy last year and found Italians a most charming people. Filipinos are mostly Roman Catholics and our cultures are in many ways similar.  I like Italian food and I like talking to Italians and I like that they use gestures a lot to express their emotions. We were ruled by Spain for more than 300 years and although Spanish is different from Italian, our familiarity with things Spanish brings us close to things Italians as well.

yep, i agree. i lived in italy for a year.  italians- the nicest, warmest people.  The group of people Italians seem annoyed with are the "gypsy" thieves who pickpocket-
