Centaurs, satyrs, on this rainy morning...

Open the windows. Look now. They are there.

Mischiefing around with not-so-shy nymphs

Silking trees with song...jealousies of sylphs!

Medusa! Keep your outrageous distance!

No 'twisty' types allowed in these velvet

Misted pre-dawnland hours. Get thee hence to

The Nemi Grove and scare the Fisher King.

Short shrift he will give you...snakey ole thing!

Let be your vengeance, dance with us awhile.

Do you still remember the steps of Life?

As you will, then. Does Charon have a wife?

What fun, laughs, outside my bedroom windows!

Imagination! Before Morning glows!

    When do we eat......

we should eat that stoopid rooster......

    EDIT:

and drink his liquid corn to warm up....

    EDIT:

and use his feathers to make a warm quilt.

  11. Some of my most memorable mythical characters right outside your window.  It makes me want to wake up some morning and watch out your window and we can watch them together.  Out my window, I have George, Gracie, Bob, Bing, Jack and Rochester, Dennis and Doris.  They are the squirrels who play in my trees and yard.  Of course the Andrews sisters the maguires and Glenn Miller the birds are there singing and making music each morning.  There is even a pair of blue jays I call Lonzo and Oscar.  The Golden Eagle that catches the rabbits, I call Reba because of the redish coloration.  I named her fledgling Patsy Cline for now due to the strong voice she emotes with when she is hungry.

  12. What Elaine and neonman said. I gotta spend sometime now in my encyclopedia set.

Though I don't fully understand this (yet), it was one of the most dreamlike poems I think I ever read. Therefore I'll just say:

    Your poem is quite dreamy.

    Thank you and good morning.
