"Every time I cried,

Then laughed at things

Thought inane...

Patiently, a gravelly voice

"Would assure me, the words

Were quite insane...

Then explain them semantically,

Linguistically emphatically...

"How all fell to Higher Order,

No need a comma, not a

Capital...all questions

Laid to rest...

"Leaving today, 8-29-08,

With awaited Manuscript,

A broken heart, a plea 'let's

Do it all again'...

"Dr. Swetman, into this morning,

Worked, corrected, worked...

All I can do is leave...

My heart in Biloxi...

"Arguing thin-ice points of

Structure...knowing this

Manuscript is his Crowning

Achievement...."
