What thinks you to be the true in paranormal phenomena?

I think that a ghost and supernatural power are lies, and a UFO is true.

First of all I look for proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation first of all in any serious undertaking of the paranormal.

Alien life isn't necessarily paranormal.  Claiming to see UFOs and aliens is.  So are the whole crop circle and earth drawing things.

The veracity of a claim must rest solely on the empirical data/evidence that such a claim is true and/or possible.  Because it's impossible to prove a negative, lacking data doesn't necessarily mean something isn't true.  But then again, since anything can be *said* to be true, evidence is everything.  If there is no evidence for a claim and the people making the claim aren't willing to bear the burden of proof, then I think it's perfectly fair to live as if no such thing exists until evidence is provided to support the claim.

One time I was investigating a boarded-up old abandoned house rumored to be haunted. I was alone on my investigation, and without any warning a ghost grabbed me up by my neck, twirled me around violently, put me in a headlock, punched me about the head and stomach, and hurled me across the room! I hit my head and went unconscious. When I woke up, the ghost was gone and I had a black eye, bruised ribs and cuts and scratches. My watch was also missing (my theory is that ghosts are attracted to shiny things).

Do you need any more proof than that to know that ghosts are real?

I think there is far more falsehood in the paranormal than there is truth, in my opinion. There is little credible evidence to support the scientific validity of any paranormal claims. If this weren't so, the paranormal would simply be the normal, without any need for a "para" prefix.

any ufo is "true" based on the fact its simply someone seeing something and not knowing what it is.  as to what that something is in reality, is a totally different issue.  most likely, anything paranormal is complete garbage and just a reflection of psychological errors/biases and or faulty thinking.

Having seen both I think ghost are real and ufo's are made at the skunk works and not some other planet.  You find ghosts everywhere and only see ufo's near government property.

Also  the theory for the holografic origin of our world seems ro be quite true.

Unless you have experienced the paranormal I can see why you would think the way you do.We as human beings seem to have a natural sense of skeptisism in our blood and I am sure that your going to get some very childish answers about your belief in ufo's I could sit here all day and try to convince you that paranormal activity exist's but until you encounter it you will have doubt and that's ok keep your belief's it is what makes you who you are

Well, some things have happened to me. Like there is an evil cat (I know it may sound silly but it's true) in my neighborhood, well there used to be. It first started with my friend's little brother falling out the window and luckily landing on the sandbox. My friend was in the room with him and claims she heard a meow and saw a cat push him out of the window. I got really interested. Also, when that same friend moved, there was a haunted house in her new neighborhood. She knows this because her sister's friend claims she heard moaning in the night so I came over and we decided to check it out. We brought her friend's camera. We got actual photos of the ghost picking up her towel (they had got wet in the rain) and then dropping it. And we got another photo of her and her husband in a tuxedo and a wedding dress. When we came back later, we heard knocking and then a scream and saw the curtains open and close. We started screaming and the lady across the street came out and said "No one lives there. Stay away. I don't want you to get hurt. Don't take pictures!!!" By then we were more interested than ever. Why would we get hurt? Why didn't she want us to take pictures? Why didn't anyone live there? So we figured she had something to do with it. On our way back, we saw my friends name and birthday carved into the street. So the next day when the lady was gone, we went back to the haunted house and saw nothing. When we went back, we were disappointed when she pointed to the back of my leg and said "Look. She's bleeding!!!" So everyone else checked the back of their legs and everyone also had a red mark, and we were wearing sandels! It was so scary, we never went back there. So thats why I started believing in that. I really hope this helps you.

Of course, there are UFOs -- they are unidentified flying objects. Once they are investigated, they always are identified and they are no longer UFOs.

No one has ever provided any credible evidence that any UFO is an alien spacecraft.

Ghosts and paranormal powers have never been proved to exist, either.

Many beliefs originate in science fiction and oral legend. Thanks to selective reasoning people convince themselves to believe in one and discount the other.

Both devoid of any logic or evidence.

I dont think there is much truth in paranormal at all, mostly just conmen and wishful thinking. This includes UFOs.

Group A makes money writing books, and selling concepts.

Group B believes what they read and hear.

Paranormal research is primarily based on old wives tales and testimonials, not real evidence.
