  1. the greatest heavyweight boxer to enter the square circle as far as class of opposition, historical impact, and ringmanship.

  2. " FLY LIKE BUTTERFLY STING LIKE A BEE"

    THAT's  WAT COMES TO MIND.

  3. the greatest

  4. Great

The man trancends the sport itself. He is one of the greatest men in history.

Heres what George Foreman wrote of Ali

keep in mind Ali derailed his career for almost 20 years, taunted him and made fun of him, and he still wrote this.

  6. The Greatest as the song said the Black Superman.

  7. "Super man don't need no airplain" (Muhammad Ali)

    Will

  8. a heavyweight boxer who would dance around his opponents making them chase him and get tired. He was also the fastest heavyweight boxer ever.

  9. The greatest boxer in the history of the sport. A pure legend. 'Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. His hands cant hit, what his eyes cant see'.

  10. speed, cool, s*x, terrorism

  11. Draft dodging, militant muslims, racial insults to joe frazier - things like that.

  12. Knocked out foreman in the 8th round!

  13. My main thoughts are of how great not only a boxer he was but what a great person he is. As someone has already mentioned he transcends the sport he has become so much more to people than just the great boxer that he was, he has become an icon and one of the most famous people in history whos legacy will be remembered long after he has gone.

The main visions that spring to mind whilst thinking about Ali would be

1, His great KO victory against the unstoppable George Foreman in Zaire in 74

2, His celebrations after beating Sonny Liston the first time

3, That knockdown from a great Left Hook from Frazier when he tried to regain his title after being out the ring for 3 years it always sticks in my mind as one of the most important and most replayed punchs in history.

4, Numerous interviews with the back and forth banter with Howard Cossell.

5, When Frazier quits on his stool in the Thrilla in Manilla and Ali stands but can hardly raise his arm through sheer exhaustion.

I could go on and on as many of us Ali fans could but all i can say is there will never be another, long live the greatest.

  14. Good boxer sorry about what has happen to him & funny how the Nation of Islam seems to really have nothing to do with him now

  15. A mental assassin. To me, Ali showed what he really was made of when he came back from his suspension. He showed that he took take a puch and that his speed did not hide a fragil chin.

But most of all, he showed that his mind was stronger then his skills, which were deminishing. He used his brain to out-smart the unstoppable Foreman, to device a way to beat Frazier who had his number in the rematch, ect.
